Twisha Death Case: Co-Star said- She wanted to study: She realized that films were not her cup of tea; sought help from mother before committing suicide

Former judge Giribala’s daughter-in-law and former actress Twisha Sharma committed suicide by hanging herself on May 11 in Bhopal’s Katara Hills. The case came into limelight after her chat asking for help went viral, following which the family members created a ruckus and accused the in-laws of dowry murder. Twisha Sharma was an actress who was a part of many ad films and South films. Now after this incident, Dixit Shetty, who has worked with Twisha in the film Mugguru Monagallu, has recently claimed that Twisha wanted to study further. Actor Dixit Shetty said in an interview to Hindustan Times, “This is very shocking news. I always knew her as a dedicated and hardworking girl, who was passionate about everything she did. She was full of life and it is very shocking to know that she took her own life.” He further added, “I didn’t even know that she was married. We worked together in just one film and then she returned home. She told me that she wanted to pursue her masters and acting was not what she was expecting. Her brother was in the army and she had realized that it was not for her, so she wanted to go back and settle down with her family.” Finally Dixit says, “I met his parents on the day of the screening of our film and they were all very nice people. The news of his demise is very sad and shocking.” Who was Twisha Sharma, what is the whole matter? 33 year old Twisha Sharma was a resident of Noida. She started her modeling career after studying MBA. She had also been Miss Pune. After this, he also worked in some films like Zara Sambhal Ke (2018), Muggaru Monagallu (2021). After not getting success in his acting career, he worked in a company in Delhi. While living in Delhi, Twisha got acquainted with Bhopal based advocate Samarth Singh with the help of online dating app. After being in a relationship for some time, both of them got married with the blessings of the family in December 2025. Just 5 months after the marriage, on May 12, Twisha’s family got the news that their daughter had passed away. The family members lodged a complaint against Samarth accusing the family of murder. Samarth has gone underground since the incident. Twisha’s post-mortem took place in Bhopal, but the family refused to accept her body without a murder investigation. Twisha’s mother-in-law and the former judge were arrested after the incident, but were then granted bail. Twisha’s WhatsApp chat has also gone viral. In this he wrote, “Mother, I am feeling very suffocated… These people will neither let me cry nor give a reason to laugh.” It is being told that she had gone to the terrace at night to talk to her mother, after which her body was found after some time. Twisha had also got an abortion done just before her death. Meanwhile, her mother-in-law Giribala has claimed that Twisha used to take drugs and due to this she often stayed out of the house for hours. Now CCTV footage of that night’s incident has also surfaced, in which Twisha is seen going to the terrace alone. Right after this, some people were seen bringing his dead body down.
