Akshay Kumar’s new film ‘Bhoot Bangla’ is facing challenge from Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar 2’ at the box office. The continuous earnings of ‘Dhurandhar 2’ even on the 31st day of its release has affected the pace of Akshay’s film. While ‘Bhoot Bangla’ has collected Rs 60 crore in two days, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is now close to joining the worldwide club of Rs 1750 crore. Earnings increased on the second day, ‘Dhurandhar’ is becoming a challenge. The pair of Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan have returned after 16 years through ‘Bhoot Bangla’. The film earned around Rs 19 crore on Saturday. The film did a business of Rs 12.25 crore on the first day. In this way the total net collection for two days has become Rs 35 crore. However, the presence of ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is proving to be a big hindrance for Akshay’s film. Despite being a month old, Ranveer’s film is attracting the audience. ‘Dhurandhar’ captures about 4 thousand shows. Horror-comedy ‘Bhoot Bangla’ is currently running with 11,513 shows across the country. At the same time, despite being 31 days old, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ still has 3,913 shows. The way this film, directed by Aditya Dhar, has made a comeback has made the path difficult for Akshay Kumar’s film. Due to ‘Dhurandhar 2’, the screens and viewership of ‘Bhoot Bangla’ has been divided. Even on the 31st day, Dhurandhar made new records, Dhurandhar 2 became the third highest grossing Indian film worldwide. It overtook Allu Arjun’s film Pushpa 2 which earned Rs 1,742.10 crore. It is now behind only Dangal (₹2070 crore) and Baahubali 2 (₹1,788.06 crore).
