A scene from Shahrukh Khan and Shilpa Shetty’s film Baazigar is still discussed among the people. In the film, Shahrukh’s character pushes Shilpa’s character from the terrace. The special thing is that a smile is visible on Shilpa’s face while falling down. Now Shilpa Shetty has shared the story behind this iconic scene for the first time after almost 32 years. In a special conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Shilpa was asked why she was falling while smiling in that scene, because people still discuss this. In response to this he told that at that time there was no modern technology like VFX or CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery). The entire scene was shot with the help of string work. Shilpa said that to shoot this one scene, she had to give 15 to 20 takes and it took about 4 days to shoot. He told that if we look carefully at that scene today, the string on which she was hanging is still visible in the frame. With today’s technology it can be easily removed, but at that time this was not possible. Shilpa described Baazigar as a film much ahead of its time. He said that this film had a different soul. ‘Baazigar’ (1993) is the debut film of Shilpa Shetty. This superhit romantic crime thriller film was directed by the famous director duo Abbas-Mustan. This film featured Shahrukh Khan and Kajol in lead roles along with Shilpa Shetty. Shilpa was only 18 years old at the time of the film’s release (12 November 1993).
