Teaser of ‘Awarapan 2’ released: The film will be released in theaters worldwide on August 14.

After almost two decades of waiting, Emraan Hashmi starrer film ‘Awarapan 2’ has finally hit the audience with its first glimpse. Taking forward the legacy of the cult film ‘Awarapan’, the teaser released has once again returned the audience to the world of Shivam Pandit. The biggest feature of the teaser is the return of Emraan Hashmi as Shivam Pandit. After almost 19 years, the character is returning to the screen and in the first glimpse, the same identity of old pain, loneliness and emotional struggle is visible, which made the first film special among the audience. The narration heard in Imran’s voice in the teaser points towards the mental state of the character and his new journey. The dialogue in the last moments of the teaser is – ‘This time this wandering will end… or me’. This dialogue further strengthens the emotional and intense tone of the story. Producer Vishesh Bhatt this time too has tried to retain the spirit of the original film, while hinting at taking the story to a new level. The music of the film is also in discussion. The teaser gives a glimpse of ‘To Phir Aao 2.0’, composed by Mithun and lyrics by Saeed Quadri. The film is directed by Nitin Kakkar and written by Bilal Siddiqui. This film will be released in theaters worldwide on 14 August 2026.
