Shooting of Jailer-2 completed, streaming rights sold for Rs 160 crore: Producer is going to officially announce the release of the film soon.

The shooting of superstar Rajinikanth’s film ‘Jailor 2’ has been completed. Production company Sun Pictures has shared pictures of the actor cutting the cake with the entire team. On this occasion, director Nelson Dilip Kumar, Rajinikanth and Vasant Ravi, who played the role of his son in the film, were also present. Rajinikanth had told the media some time ago that the film will be released in June. However, the makers will soon announce the official release of the film. Whereas Amazon Prime Video has bought the streaming rights after its theatrical release for Rs 160 crore. This is the biggest digital rights deal in the history of Tamil cinema. The price of digital rights of Rajinikanth’s films is increasing rapidly. In 2023, ‘Jailor’ was sold for Rs 75 crore in the schedule. This deal has created a new record in the Tamil film industry. ‘Jailor 2’ is directed by Nelson.
