- Reached Punjab via Nepal: According to family members, the arrested accused told during police interrogation that Sukkhi came to Nepal from Canada in April and then came to Punjab from there. Stayed in Moga for a few days and after that he planned the murder of Inder Kaur. On May 13, the accused Sukkhi Brar booked two taxis from Moga and came to Ludhiana and from here he had to go to the airport. Some other people including his father were also traveling in it.
- Inder found her outside in her car and took her forcibly: Inder’s brother Jotinder Singh told that his sister had gone to buy grocery items. When she was coming, she met Sukhi Brar and his company. Sukhi Brar told him that he was going to Canada so come and drop him. When she refused, he forcibly took her along. Jot Inder told that the arrested accused told the police that Sukhi sat in Inder’s car and both the taxis started leaving from behind. From Jamalpur he moved towards Chandigarh Road.

- The taxi driver left till Nepal border: After the murder, the accused Sukhi Brar left the place in a taxi. The taxi driver told the police that he had already booked a taxi till Nepal border. After the murder, he left her till Nepal border and from there he went to Canada. Police also believe that the accused has reached Canada via Nepal.
