State Women Commission Chairperson Renu Bhatia said- Masoom Sharma himself said that he has been abusing since 2009 and calls himself a great artist. He had sent summons to Masoom Sharma. Despite it being Saturday, the office was kept open, but he did not appear. His lawyer came back with a reply. Masoom Sharma will be given one more chance to appear, and if he does not appear on that date also, action will be taken against him.

Abused from stage in college program
Masoom Sharma had come to DAV College, Dehradun on 11 April to perform a show. During this, the innocent boy said from the stage – Some goon had come to kill me. I told him that I am doing a program in Dehradun, if you have the courage then come here. Leave the hotel and come here, keep your time.” During this, the innocent man abused the college student from the stage itself.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was also present in this live program. After his departure, Masoom Sharma got angry on the stage. During this time, MLA Umesh Sharma from Khanpur, Uttarakhand was also present with him.

CCTV footage of the hotel is being extracted, all the footage will be provided to the police.
- Brother received threat in America: The innocent claimed that the miscreants also threatened his cousin living in America. The scoundrel said that he would have to return to India with an emergency ticket within 20 hours, otherwise the consequences would be bad. The person making the threat is from Haryana, he is continuously trying to scare.
- Clarification on abuse on stage: On the abuses that took place on stage in the college, Masoom said that due to the threats, he could not sleep the whole night and was under mental stress, due to which the stress came out on the stage. After this he also apologized to the audience.
After the controversy, Masoom Sharma had apologized by posting a video on social media.
FIR lodged in Dehradun 5 days ago
Police has registered a case against Haryanvi singer Masoom Sharma in Dehradun 5 days ago. On the basis of the complaint, Dalanwala police station has registered a case under section 296 (obscene acts and songs), section 352 (insult with intent to provoke breach of peace), section 79 (words or acts insulting the dignity of a woman) and section 351(3) (criminal intimidation) of the BNS.
This case has been registered on the complaint of Pranchal Nauni, student representative of Satyam Shivam Students Organization (DAV College). Earlier, the police had issued a notice to the singer. He was asked to reply within 15 days.
