Haryanvi folk artist and Ragni singer Pepsi Sharma passed away. Family members said that after suddenly having chest pain, he was admitted to a private hospital, where he died during treatment. Pepsi Sharma was 38 years old. He has a 10 year old daughter and 7 year old son. Brother Rishipal told that Pepsi Sharma had reached his native village Talala on Sunday morning itself. Because he had to go somewhere for a show. After coming to the village, he stayed with his mother and met her. Later he was sitting and talking with some of his friends. During this time he felt pain in his chest and body. After complaining of pain, his friends took him to a local hospital. There the doctors examined him, gave him medicine and sent him home. After this he sat near his mother and started talking. Then again he felt pain and again died on the way to the hospital. His real name was Yashpal Sharma, but he became famous on stage as Pepsi Sharma. He was originally a resident of Talala village of Ghaziabad. Apart from Haryana, he created a special identity through stage performance in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi NCR. He played a special role in the Ragni competition held in cow sheds in Haryana. He was recognized not only as a singer but also for his witty style and comic timing on stage.
