Recently, a behind-the-scenes (BTS) photo of Akshay Khanna from the sets of the film has gone viral on social media. This has been shared by director Prashant Verma himself. Along with the photo, he has also written a special message for Akshay Khanna. Akshay will be seen in the role of ‘Asur Guru Shukracharya’. Akshay Khanna is making his debut in Telugu cinema through the film ‘Mahakali’. This film will be an important part of Prashant Verma’s ‘Cinematic Universe’ (PVCU). Earlier, the first-look poster of the film was released, in which Akshay Khanna was seen in the mysterious character of ‘Asur Guru Shukracharya’. Director Prashant Verma wrote an emotional note. While sharing a photo with Akshay Khanna on his Instagram handle, Prashant Verma praised the actor profusely. He wrote, “A true actor proves that real talent does not need pretense. Akshay’s presence on screen, strong acting and his class always stands out. It is an honor for me to work with you.” Prashant further added that they are eager to show the world what they have created together. He also used hashtags like ‘Mahakali’ and ‘Jai Hanuman’ in the post. Along with South, Akshay Khanna will be seen with Sunny Deol after 30 years, he is also a part of a big project ‘Ikka’ in Bollywood. He will share the screen with Sunny Deol in this crime drama film. In the teaser of the film, Sunny Deol is seen in the role of a lawyer, while Akshay Khanna’s entry is with the policemen. Let us tell you that Akshay Khanna and Sunny Deol were last seen together in the 1997 blockbuster film ‘Border’. These two actors will now be seen together after almost 30 years.
