Akshay Kumar starrer comedy adventure film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ has earned more than Rs 50 crore at the global box office in the first two days of its release. Made under the direction of Ahmed Khan, this film was released in theaters on Friday. According to the makers of the film, the film collected Rs 27.60 crore worldwide on the first day.
On the second day, there was an increase in its earnings and it earned Rs 31.80 crore. The total worldwide collection of the film in two days has reached Rs 59.40 crore. Trade experts hope that after Sunday’s collection, the film can achieve better figures on its first weekend.
Third installment of ‘Welcome’ franchise ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ is the sequel to the 2007 superhit film ‘Welcome’ and 2015’s ‘Welcome Back’. This is the third film of this franchise. The story and screenplay of the film is based on the original story of late writer Neeraj Vora. However, this time the budget has been kept much bigger than the previous films. The total duration of the film is 2 hours 45 minutes, in which many interesting twists are seen.

Directed by Ahmed Khan, this film stars Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandes, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Farida Jalal, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Tushar Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Krishna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Aftab Shivdasani, Mukesh. Tiwari, Yashpal Sharma, Kiran Kumar, Zakir Hussain, Vindu Dara Singh, Urvashi Rautela, Hemant Pandey, Brijendra Kala, Firoz Khan (Arjun), late Pankaj Dheer, Punit Issar, Sudesh Berry, Jeetu Verma, Vrihi Kodwara, Aditya Singh and Bhagya Bhanushali will be seen.
The film was directed by A.A. Presented by Nadiadwala, Cape of Good Films and Star Studios in association with Sita Films. Its production has been done by Rakesh Dang and Vedant Vikas Bali under the banner of Base Industries Group, while producer Firoz A. Nadiadwala. The story of the film revolves around a businessman who plans to make a flop film to evade taxes, but later the entire team unknowingly gets trapped in a real mission.
