Friend’s body found in actress Krushi Thapanda’s apartment: Police suspect suicide; Had called the actress before the incident

The body of her 45-year-old friend was found hanging in the apartment of Kannada actress Krushi Thapanda in Bengaluru. According to news agency PTI, the police said that the deceased has been identified as businessman Vaishak and in the initial investigation the case seems to be a suicide. Police said that the incident came to light on Thursday morning when Vaishak’s body was found hanging from the ceiling fan in the actress’s apartment in Rajarajeshwari Nagar. The actress was not present at the apartment at that time. According to initial investigation, Vaishak was suffering from depression. He had the key to the actress’s apartment and used to visit there often. Even on Wednesday night, he was alone at the apartment, where he allegedly committed suicide. Had called the actress before the incident. Police have not found any suicide note from the incident spot. Investigation also revealed that before the incident, Vaishak had called the actress and talked about committing suicide. After this the actress immediately informed her family. When the family members reached the apartment, they found Vaishak’s dead body. According to police, Vaishak was earlier arrested for allegedly threatening a businessman. Later he got bail. Krushi is a famous actress of Kannada films. Krushi Thapanda is a well-known actress and model of Kannada film industry. Before coming into the world of acting, she made her mark as a model. In the year 2014, she won the title of Miss Karnataka, after which her popularity increased in the glamor industry. Before modeling, she had also worked as an assistant manager in the American company Intercall. Krushi started her acting career in 2016 with the Kannada film ‘Akira’. Her acting in the very first film was highly appreciated and she received a nomination for Best Debut Actress at the SIIMA Awards. In the same year, his film ‘Kahi’ was also released, which was well received by the critics and the film received the Best Script Award at the Karnataka State Award. After this, Krushi worked in many films like ‘Iradu Kanasu’, ‘Dalapati’, ‘Kannadakkagi Ondannu Otti’, ‘Ira’, ‘Bharaate’, ‘Lanke’, ‘Blank’, ‘Rupayi’ and ‘Gana’. Apart from films, Krushi also appeared in ‘Bigg Boss Kannada Season 5’.
