Director Abhishek Nama shares interesting facts related to the making… Abhishek explains… ‘Nagabandham The Secret Treasure’ is a grand adventure thriller film, which revolves around a mystery hidden for centuries. The film depicts a journey that involves mythology, sacred temples, forgotten warriors, Brahmakamal and a treasure that could change the fate of humanity. This film has been made in 5 languages Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. Abhishek said, ‘The film was shot across multiple locations, including Hyderabad, specially constructed studio sets, forests, water locations and large outdoor areas, which were created to depict different worlds and times as per the needs of the story. The film took more than a year to complete, including all the schedules, action sequences, songs and other work. The idea came from my interest in the ancient history and mysterious treasures of the country. Abhishek shares…’The basic idea of Nagabandham came from my deep interest in the ancient history and mysterious treasures of India. For many years I researched sacred temples, serpent traditions, stories of lost civilizations. Inspired many adventure stories. The actors in the film have been selected according to the personality of each character. Abhishek says…’Each character in the film required a special personality and screen presence. Virat Karna was chosen because he had the ability to show the journey of the lead character. Experienced actors like Mahesh Manjrekar and Murali Sharma gave depth and credibility to the film. Whereas Nabha Natesh and Daksha Nagarkar brought strength and charm to their characters. When these actors came on board, we felt that we had found the perfect team for the world of ‘Nagabandham’. Virat Karna was one of the first actors to join the project as the entire story revolves around his character. ‘The cost is around Rs 110 crore. Abhishek says…the purpose of ‘Nagabandham’ is not just entertainment. Every set, costume, weapon and frame has been created with respect and passion for Indian culture. Not just a treasure hunt, but also to introduce people to the culture of the country. Its budget is around Rs 110 crore. About 10 big sets were prepared for ‘Nagabandham’. ‘Every weapon and costume in the film has been designed differently. Different versions of weapons were created for action and close-up scenes. Abhishek said, ‘Each song of the film takes the story forward and also shows different emotions related to it. – A gorgeous devotional song, celebrating divine energy and spirituality. – The second is a romantic song, which shows the emotional relationship of the lead characters. – The third is an emotional song, in which pain, sacrifice and internal struggle will be seen. – The fourth song is inspired by Sanatan Dharma and the world of Naga Sadhus. There is a family celebration in the fifth song, in which happiness, belongingness and tradition will be seen.
