Makeup artist said – Director crossed the limits of decorum. Janhvi Kapoor’s makeup artist Savlin Kaur Manchanda has shared a post on social media. It is reported that Jhanvi Kapoor had directly raised questions on the inclusion of certain scenes during the post-production phase of the film. According to Savlin, Jhanvi had set her professional limits regarding certain camera angles during the shooting itself, but those scenes were not removed in the final edit of the film. Dimple Hayati raised questions on the makers and the system. Telugu and Tamil film actress Dimple Hayati has also expressed her views on this controversy. She wrote on her Dimple said that after the release of a film, people immediately start blaming the actress, whereas she has to do what is offered. The real mistake is of the makers and the system, who think that body exhibition is what sells in films. Actresses should get better experience. Dimple Hayati further wrote in her post that we do not get the opportunity to show our full potential and are tied to a particular image. In contrast, men get complete freedom in hero-centric films. She said that film production does not depend on the decisions of any one person, but we all can together raise the demand that actresses should get better experience on the sets and good films. If a woman’s character is written weakly, then the responsibility lies on the writing and film maker’s decisions, not on the woman playing the character.
