She wanted to become a painter but Suman’s voice was tested by her neighbor and father’s friend Pandit Keshav Rao Bhole. He asked Suman’s father to teach music to Suman. At first Suman was learning music as an amateur but with time her interest in it started increasing. She started learning music more seriously.
