The artists present at the tribute meeting collectively decided that every year on June 7, a tribute program would be organized in the memory of Pepsi Sharma in his village Dala. Yashpal Sharma alias Pepsi Sharma died of heart attack on 7th June. His ashes were immersed in the river Ganga at Brajghat. Pepsi Sharma had performed in many Ragni programs with Sapna Choudhary. Pepsi lived in Noida with his wife and daughter, while his son lives with his grandmother and uncle in the village.
