Due to the controversy, FIRs were registered against Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahabadia, Ashish Chanchlani, Apoorva Makhija and Jaspreet Singh in Maharashtra, Assam (Guwahati) and Rajasthan (Jaipur). Taking a strict stance on this, the Supreme Court described Ranveer’s mind as dirty and said that such things bring shame in the society. The court had also ordered him to apologize publicly.
