Ranbir’s response to being trolled on the role of Lord Ram: Initially I wondered whether I deserve it; Yash, who is playing the role of Ravana, praised

After the release of the teaser of the film ‘Ramayana’ being made under the direction of Nitish Tiwari, questions are being raised regarding the casting of actor Ranbir Kapoor. He was also trolled for this role on social media. Now Ranbir himself has broken his silence on these questions. Ranbir Kapoor expressed his views on this trolling for the first time in an interview given at San Diego Comic-Con. Ranbir said that Lord Ram does not have any fixed face. An actor whose intentions are clear and who believes in the ideals of Lord Ram is the right choice for this character. The question that came to mind after getting the offer was – Am I worthy of it? During the promotion of the film at San Diego Comic-Con, when Ranbir was asked what was the first thought that came to his mind when he was offered the role, he told about his hesitation. Ranbir said, “The first question that came to my mind was, am I worthy of this responsibility? I am not just playing a character, but presenting Lord Ram on screen.” He further said that with time he understood that this is a huge responsibility, which has to be fulfilled with full devotion. There is no fixed face of Ram, every person has his own point of view. Answering the questions being raised on casting, Ranbir said that everyone has his own point of view. Every person who listens and watches Ramayana has his own distinct image of Lord Rama in his mind. That’s why some people will feel that my casting is wrong and some people will find it right. But the real thing is that only the artiste who has true feelings and faith can play this role properly. Yash, who is playing the role of Ravana, praised Ranbir. South superstar Yash, who is playing the role of Ravana in the film, also supported Ranbir Kapoor. Yash said that playing the character of Lord Ram on screen is not an easy task at all. Ranbir has worked hard day and night for this. When the audience watches this film in theatres, they will see a beautiful display of sacrifice, dedication and emotions in Ranbir’s acting. The country’s biggest film being made with a budget of Rs 4,000 crore, the film ‘Ramayana’, being made under the direction of Nitesh Tiwari, is one of the most expensive films of Indian cinema. Its total budget is said to be around Rs 4,000 crore. The film is being jointly produced by Namit Malhotra and South Star Yash.
