Global star Ram Charan is going to be seen in the film Peddi to be released on June 4. Before the release of the film, Ram Charan talked about spirituality, discipline and politics in a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar. When Ram Charan was asked if he ever felt pressure to carry forward his father’s legacy, he said that he comes from a film family and this is normal for him.
Question- You take Ayyappa Diksha for 41 days, walk barefoot, wear black clothes. As a global star, what do you do to increase this connection?
Ram Charan- I am happy that everyone is liking it. I would advise everyone to take Ayyappa Diksha. This is not about any religion or God, this is our way of life. This is the most disciplined way of life. That’s why I do it twice every year, which keeps me energetic throughout the year. It balances perfectly.

Question- Are you a devotee of Hanuman ji?
Ram Charan- My name is Hanuman, Hanuman is brother, friend, father, everything to me.
Question- Upasana, who is your biggest support system, says that you are very disciplined, you never feel that you have to leave the dedication and live a normal day?
Ram Charan- I am not that disciplined. Every day I feel like waking up late, sleeping late after watching a movie. Every day I feel like eating Chole Bhature, I feel like eating Biryani. But what to do, the producers don’t allow me to do this. Chiranjeevi sir, dad lives at home, so he doesn’t let him sleep, he asks why he didn’t come to the gym. So if someone pushes us, there is no time to relax.

Question- Does Chiranjeevi give you film related tips?
Ram Charan- Give very few tips. He believes that every actor has his own journey. He talks only when he likes something very much, otherwise he believes that I will choose my own path. Discipline is important for every actor. Discipline is necessary for every successful person and actor in the world. If there is no discipline then success quickly fades away.

Question- Generally, father always shy away from praising in front of others, but does it in front of others, is it the same with you also?
Ram Charan- My father is a little different. Who always keeps telling the children that they have done a good job. If you have done a bad thing, you say less. He always praises.
Question: Any compliment from your father which will always be remembered?
Ram Charan- Don’t keep this wrestling body just for the movies, stay like this forever. He really appreciates the hard work I have done in the last 14 months. This is something that fathers appreciate.

Question- Do you feel pressure to carry forward your father’s legacy?
Ram Charan- Frankly never. We were born in an entertainment family. So this was not a new thing for us. We just crave for good work, stardom doesn’t push us.
Question- What is the biggest turning point for you?
Ram Charan- Magadheera and Rangasthalam, these two films made me as an actor.

The film Magadheera was released in 2009.
Question- Your family is also a big name in politics, look at Vijay too, your uncle (Pawan Kalyan) also served in Andhra Pradesh government, fans hope that you also come into politics?
Ram Charan- No. No. no way. I just want to be the best in the entertainment field. Obviously my dad and uncle entered politics, but I don’t want to do that at all. It is very difficult for me to row in two boats. About the movie Peddi-
