Police beat stand-up comedian badly: Said- kicked wife, ribs broken; Raunak Rajni made serious allegations by releasing the video

Famous stand-up comedian Raunak Rajni was assaulted during the student protest in Mumbai. His wife was also beaten by the male police officer, due to which even her rib was broken. The comedian has now made many serious allegations against the Mumbai Police by posting his wife’s report and videos of the assault. Raunak Rajni has released a video from the official Instagram account and said, my wife’s rib is broken due to the protest. It was broken by a policeman. Raunak also shared his wife’s medical report. He further said, ‘On July 22, at 4.47 pm, my wife and I were detained. The police were unnecessarily picking up people from the ongoing protest in Shivaji Park. We were brutally pushed away, resulting in a sprained neck and pain in my ribs. We did not make a big deal out of it, because even more brutality happened to the people, they became victims of the brutality of the police. The comedian further said, ‘We came back to Delhi. His pain was not decreasing. We went to the doctor, he advised an X-ray and it was found to be a fracture. Further in the video, the comedian showed all the footage in which the police are seen beating him and his wife. The comedian has told that the controversy started when the police were forcefully detaining some children who were standing peacefully. When he tried to stop the police from a distance, a policeman started pulling him. Seeing the scuffle with the comedian, his wife came near him and before that the comedian was thrown on the ground. After some time, both of them were forcefully pushed inside the bus, where a policeman kicked the comedian’s wife. The policeman is clearly seen kicking in the video.
