Alia Bhatt, who came under the target of trolling due to the teaser of Alpha, is not sure to replace Deepika from Kalki 2898 AD. The spokesperson associated with the film has called Alia’s claims about casting and shooting of the film as baseless.
Talking to Hindustan Times, he said on the news of Alia’s casting, it has not been officially confirmed. Someone posted this thing on social media and others started copy-pasting it considering it as news. There is currently no clear information regarding his casting.”
The spokesperson has also termed as baseless the claims that he had shot the film for 5 days some time ago.
Deepika left the film demanding 8 hours shift
In September 2025, the makers of the film Kalki had issued an official statement saying that Deepika will not be a part of Kalki Part-2.
Later it came to light that after becoming a mother, Deepika had demanded to work in 8-hour shifts to work in films. Due to this demand, he has also been expelled from the spirits of Kalki and Sandeep Reddy Vanga. After the news came out, 8-hour shift became a big issue, on which a big debate broke out in the industry.

Recently, the teaser of the first female lead film Alpha of Yash Raj Films’ spy universe was released.

Alpha trailer has been released today
The trailer of Alia Bhatt, Sharvari Wagh and Bobby Deol starrer film Alpha has been released today. The trailer is full of action and adventure. Hrithik Roshan is also going to have a cameo in the film, who has been a part of Yash Raj Films’ spy universe films War and War 2.
Alpha It is the 7th film of Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe and the first with a female lead. The film is scheduled for release on 3 July. The film is directed by Shiv Rawail.
