Kabir Khan is again returning to the genre of family-emotion and child-connect in his new film. The film stars Kartik Aryan in the lead role and the story revolves around the relationship between a child and a mature character. According to sources, the tone of the film has largely been kept with emotional appeal like Salman Khan starrer ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. The makers are preparing it as a content-driven film instead of heavy VFX or big sets. The budget of the film has also been kept under control. Kashmir made in Mud Island, artificial snowfall was also done. The first major schedule of the film was completed in Mud Island, Mumbai, where a set like Kashmir was prepared for about 15 days. The production design team set up Kashmiri streets, markets and local houses. Some important sequences related to stone pelting and security forces were shot on this set. For night scenes, large artificial moons and high-intensity lights were used to create a moonlight effect. Amidst the heat of Mumbai, special techniques were used to create artificial snowfall and cool atmosphere on the set. In many scenes, an attempt has been made to capture the local Kashmiri background and tense atmosphere in a very realistic manner. Makers are also giving full priority to real locations. After completion of Mumbai schedule, now the film unit is shooting in real Kashmir. The team left from Mumbai on 13th and the main shoot has started there from 15th. This outdoor schedule was kept for about 10 days. In this, emotional parts of the film, training montages and local location scenes were shot. The backdrop of Kashmir plays a very important role in the story, hence the makers have given priority to shoot at real locations also. The unit is shooting in less crowded areas and natural locations of the valley to make the visuals look more realistic. Some scenes are being shot among local actors and in the real environment, which gives a grounded feel to the story. The film is being made in the joint venture of Applause and Kabir. In the initial days, a lot of secrecy was being maintained regarding the names of the makers of this film. Instead of any final title on the clapboard and files, only ‘Project No.’ or ‘Production No.’ It was written, but now it is completely clear that Sameer Nair’s famous and big company Applause Entertainment is behind this film. At the corporate level, having a big company like Applause Entertainment leading this film is increasing the scale of marketing, distribution and post-production of the film.
