Question: Your film shows the emotional ups and downs of relationships and loneliness in a sensitive manner. How was the journey to reach this story?

Answer (Padmakumar): The biggest feature of this film was that I got complete freedom to tell the story. The producer did not exert any pressure. He expressed confidence that I should bring the story on screen in the form that I want to tell. Perhaps because of this the film could reach the audience with its original spirit.

Question: Today, when most films are made keeping trends in mind, why did you choose a different path?

Answer (Padmakumar): After working in the advertising industry for a long time, I realized that films should not just be a medium of entertainment. I want to tell such stories, which leave something behind in people after watching. For me, the impact of a film is more important than its earnings.

Actor Siddharth Menon says that the story of the film made him feel like a better person.

Question: What influenced you most as an artist about this story?

Answer (Siddhartha): When I heard the entire script, I felt that this is not just a film, it is an experience. As I listened to the story, I realized that it inspires a person to become better from within. Good stories always stay with humans for a long time.

Question: What made you decide to join this film?

Answer (Vidhatri): As soon as I read the short introduction of the character, I had decided that if I get a chance, I will definitely do this film. Later, I became emotional while listening to the whole story. I thought this film would make people think about their relationships and themselves.

Question: According to you, what is the biggest reason for breaking of relationships?

Answer (Siddhartha): According to me, ending a relationship is not wrong, but what matters is how you come out of it. The growth of both people in a relationship is as important as living together. If necessary, talk, seek therapy, and if necessary, separate with respect.

Question: Today words like ‘situationship’ and ‘benching’ have become common. Does the new generation avoid commitment?

Answer (Vidhatri): I don’t think so. Today’s youth want to understand themselves first. When they get clarity about themselves, they come into relationships with more honesty. If the relationship feels right then there should be no fear in committing.

Question: Do you also believe that today’s youth are running away from relationships?

Answer (Siddhartha): no way. I have also seen people marrying young and people who separate after long relationships. An entire generation cannot be judged on the basis of any one experience. It is important that respect remains even after the relationship ends.

The film 'Max, Min and Myuuzaki' will be released in theaters on July 24, 2026.

Question: Which reaction was the most memorable for you when the film was shown abroad?

Answer (Padmakumar): Many people said that this is one of the few Indian films in which male characters do not suppress their emotions. They are sensitive and not afraid to admit their weaknesses. This response was very special for me.

Question: Did you have any personal experience behind this thinking?

Answer (Padmakumar): Some time ago I lost my very close friend. He always looked happy from outside, but no one had any idea of how much pain he was feeling inside. Then I realized that men should also express their feelings openly.

Question: How important are sensitive stories in today’s time?

Answer (Padmakumar): Hatred and violence are increasing in the world. In such times, the responsibility of films should not be limited to just entertainment. Stories can remind people of humanity, compassion, and being sensitive to each other.

Question: How important is the support of loved ones in overcoming difficult times?

Answer (Padmakumar): A strong support system is very important. There should be people with whom you can talk openly. Besides, it is also important to accept life from a positive perspective. Good relationships are the greatest strength of a human being.

Question: How do you maintain mental balance amid the constant rejections you receive?

Answer (Vidhatri): Rejection is a daily part of this industry. In such a situation, the support of family and friends becomes very important. With time I have learned that it is not necessary to give space to everyone in your life. Protecting your mental peace is equally important.

Question: Have you ever taken professional help or therapy?

Answer (Siddhartha): Yes, I have taken therapy and felt the benefits of it. Taking care of mental health is as important as physical health.

Question: Your final message to the audience?

Answer (Padmakumar): Our effort was not just to make a film, but to tell a story that reaches people’s hearts and inspires them to become a better human being.
