Devoleena’s taunt on Mamata Banerjee’s defeat: On the election results she said – the nightmare is over; Now no Rumba Tumba in the state, only Dhinka Chika

Devoleena Bhattacharjee, famous as Gopi Bahu in ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’, has taken a dig at former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee after the West Bengal election results came out. Devoleena expressed happiness on social media that there has been a change in Bengal. The actress, who hails from Bengal, expressed happiness over Mamata Banerjee’s defeat and described her as a ‘nightmare’ for the state. Devoleena clearly said in a post on social media that if she hates any politician the most, it is Mamata Banerjee. Calling Mamta the most disliked leader, Devoleena wrote on Twitter (X) that Bengal has seen the worst phase in the last several years. He wrote, “If I have ever hated any politician, it is him. More than RG (Rahul Gandhi) and his gang.” The actress believes that there was a dire need for change in Bengal and now the public has got relief. He directly called Mamta and her team ‘Tata’. Commenting on Rahul Gandhi and his sense of humour, Devoleena also mentioned Rahul Gandhi in her post. He sarcastically said, “Actually I think RG is a good person and he also has a wonderful sense of humor, which always proves beneficial for the central government.” However, in the case of Mamata Banerjee, he took a tough stand and said that now she will never be seen in Bengal politics. ‘No Rumba Tumba, now only Dhinka Chika’ At the end of her tweet, Devoleena wrote using Bengali language that now no ‘Rumba Tumba Zumba’ will work in Bengal. He wrote, “Paltano darkar chilo so palte geichhe (Change was needed and it happened). Now there will be only Dhinka Chika, Dhinka Chika in Bengal.” Devoleena is on a break from acting after marriage. Currently, Devoleena is away from the small screen and is spending time with her family. She married Shanawaz Shaikh in December 2022 and gave birth to a son, named Joy, in December 2024. Apart from ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’, Devoleena has been a part of big shows like ‘Bigg Boss’.
