Conversation with Kumud Mishra, who has made a distinct identity in Bollywood: Said- My character in ‘Satrangi’ is influential, but very serious.

Kumud Mishra, who has made a name for himself with his acting in films and OTT, is now seen playing a complex and interesting character in ZEE5’s web series ‘Satrangi’. She spoke openly about the series, her co-actors, the environment of the set and her acting approach… Good script and director’s vision impresses the most. Kumud said…’The first reason for saying yes to any project is always the script. In ‘Satrangi’ the director’s vision and his passion for the story left the most impact. When I came to know that there were actors like Anshuman in the team, my confidence increased further. Whereas RJ Mehwish may have seemed a little hesitant in the beginning, but as soon as she came in front of the camera, her talent became clearly visible. It is very important to live life lightly after work. On her serious image, Kumud said, ‘I work with full dedication in front of the camera, but after the work is over, I do not consider it right to take myself too seriously. When the shot ends, life should be lived lightly. Joking, talking and teasing each other is also important on the set. The characters of ‘Jolly LLB 2’ and ‘Satrangi’ have different weaknesses… On comparison of their characters, Kumud said that Inspector Singh of ‘Jolly LLB 2’ and the current character of ‘Satrangi’ are people from different worlds. The character of ‘Satrangi’ is certainly influential, but from within he is also a sensitive father and brother. Till now I have avoided Akshay’s pranks… Talking about her relationship with Akshay Kumar, Kumud said – Till now I have avoided his famous pranks. Till now I have clearly escaped, but don’t remind me now, otherwise next time they will leave the stone unturned. The atmosphere on the sets of Satrangi was more about learning and understanding new people, and not just about pranks and fun.
