Haryanvi music industry artists Pooja Hooda and Pradeep Bura’s new song ‘Bhola Bholi’ has been embroiled in controversy as soon as it was released. Both of them are being trolled fiercely on social media regarding a reel shot at Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar. In the reel, Pradeep Bura is seen carrying his wife Pooja Hooda in his lap in the river Ganga. The song is playing in the background, ‘Ek Ghat Pai Bholi Khadi Ar Ek Ghat Pai Bhola, Ardaas Karai Maa Ganga Tai Mhara Mail Kara De Toula.’ Some people have objected to the wet clothes of both of them and the scene filmed at a religious place, calling it against religious faith and the dignity of Har Ki Pauri. One user wrote that Emraan Hashmi would suit him, not Bhole Baba. After the controversy escalated, Pradeep Bura presented his side in a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar. He said that this is just a part of the music video based on the love of husband and wife and there is nothing obscene in it. The song was released on 6th July. Pooja Hooda and Pradeep Boora’s new song ‘Bhola Bholi’ was released on 6th July. It was shot at different religious and tourist places in Haridwar and Rishikesh. The entire shooting was completed in about two days. This song has been viewed and heard about 25 million times on YouTube so far. Pooja Hooda and Pradeep Bura had also made several reels in Haridwar for the promotion of the song. The user wrote – Such things do not suit. Users are making different types of comments on these reels. Some people wrote that it is wrong to do obscene acts like this in the river Ganga in a holy place like Haridwar, the center of faith. One user said, “This was not expected from a big artist like you.” While another wrote, “This kind of content does not suit the name of Bhole Baba.” Some users termed it as “shameless”, while many said, “You are a good artiste, such things don’t suit you.” Woman said- Such artists should be opposed. Amidst the controversy, a video of a woman also went viral on social media. The woman said that those who earlier opposed Masoom Sharma should now also speak on the videos of Pooja Hooda and Pradeep Boora. After all, which innocent person would behave like this during the Kanwar Yatra? The woman alleged that Masoom Sharma was often accused of making songs promoting bullying, but he never made such a video at any religious place. She also commented on Pooja Hooda’s dressing and said that this kind of content gives a wrong message to the society. Artists who create such content at religious places should be opposed. Pradeep Bura said – There is nothing obscene in our reel. On the controversy, Pradeep Bura said, “If people are seeing vulgar content in that reel, then they are still watching it. We are not wearing any objectionable clothes in that video. Bhole and Parvati also had a love marriage. People go to Haridwar and drink alcohol, but there is nothing like that in our reel. We have only shown the love of the husband and wife, which Bhole and Parvati also had a love marriage. Parvati is depicted. There is no wrong impression on anyone after watching our reel.
