Ranveer Singh starrer film Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar 2 together have earned more than Rs 3,000 crore worldwide, after which it has become the first Indian film franchise to earn more than Rs 3,000 crore.
When more than one part of a film is made after its success, it takes the form of a franchise.
According to trade website Sacanilc, Dhurandhar 2’s India net collection is ₹1,088.62 crore and India gross is ₹1,303.37 crore. The film has grossed ₹415.25 crore in overseas. With this, the worldwide gross collection of the film has reached ₹ 1,718.62 crore. Let us tell you that gross collection is the total income from tickets and net collection is the income after tax.
Ranveer Singh has played the role of an Indian spy in the Dhurandhar franchise. Whereas both the parts have been directed by Aditya Dhar.
Worldwide collection of both films reached ₹3,025.97 crore
Dhurandhar, released on 5 December 2025, had collected around ₹ 1,307.35 crore worldwide. At the same time, its sequel Dhurandhar 2, released on March 19, 2026, earned approximately ₹ 1,718.62 crore in just 26 days. In this way, the total worldwide collection of both the films has reached ₹3,025.97 crore. The special thing is that Dhurandhar 2 is currently running in theatres.
Dhurandhar has left behind other big films of Indian cinema in terms of earnings. The total earning of both the parts of Pushpa was around ₹ 2,192 crore. Pushpa had earned around ₹350.10 crore and the second part had earned ₹1,742.10 crore worldwide.
At the same time, both the parts of Baahubali did a business of around ₹ 2,438 crore. Baahubali had earned around ₹650.00 crore and the second part had earned ₹1,788.10 crore worldwide.
Dhurandhar got a great response
The first part of Dhurandhar performed brilliantly at the Indian and international box office and earned around Rs 1,307 crore worldwide.
The gross collection of the film in India was Rs 1,005.85 crore, while the net collection was approximately Rs 840 crore. At the same time, with the earning of Rs 894.49 crore, it became the highest grossing film in Hindi language.
The film received tremendous response in foreign markets also. It earned around Rs 299.5 crore in overseas. It also broke the record of Bahubali 2 by earning more than Rs 193.06 crore in America and Canada.
Interestingly, the film was a resounding success despite not being allowed to release in Gulf countries. It also became the highest grossing ‘A’ rated film of Indian cinema.
