Gaurav Khanna’s friend and actor Anuj Sachdeva has reacted to TV actress Akanksha Chamola’s announcement of divorce in the reality show ‘Lock Up Season 2’. Anuj told in an interview to Vicky Lalwani that he himself was surprised by this revelation.
According to him, Gaurav had no idea that Akanksha would make public the breakdown of her marriage on the show. Akanksha had revealed to show hosts Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh that she and Gaurav were living separately for a year.

Anuj said, “I did not know that Gaurav and Akanksha were not living together for the last 9 months. After the news came, I spoke to Gaurav. On this, Anuj said, “I don’t think this is the real reason. Anyway, this is a very personal matter on which no one should speculate. Akanksha had never spoken about this outside before. I suspect that maybe she has done this to increase the TRP or attention of the show.”
Both of them got married on 24 November 2016 in Gaurav’s hometown Kanpur.

He said, “The love is still the same and the support is also the same. I will always support Akanksha, she is my wife. If I love you then why should I back down.” Gaurav further said that he always stands with Akanksha and wants her to play well in the show and win.

He had said in a conversation with Gaurav that if they want to separate for this reason, then this decision is absolutely right.
