Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel has once again expressed her displeasure over the statement of comedian Zakir Khan, in which Zakir had said that the entire industry is burning due to the success of the film ‘Dhurandhar 2’. Describing Zakir’s statement as wrong, Ameesha said that it is very easy to make fun of an achiever, but it is very difficult to reach that point. The actress made it clear that the industry is not insecure about the success of this film, but is learning from it. It is easy to make jokes on achievers. Recently during an interview, Ameesha said on this controversy, “I know Zakir personally, but I must say one thing that it is very easy to stand on the stage and talk about achievers and make fun of them. First show yourself as an achiever or a superstar, then when the joke is made on you, then I will see how you take it. It is not right to humiliate someone and make a joke on him.” The industry is not burning, it is learning. Ameesha also rejected Zakir’s claim in which he talked about jealousy. The actress asked, “Did anyone call you and tell you that ‘Dhurandhar’ became a hit and I am feeling insecure? How did you know this?” According to Ameesha, after the release of ‘Dhurandhar 2’, filmmakers like Ram Gopal Varma and many actors have praised the film. People are considering this film as a standard and are trying to improve their work. Improvement comes from competition. Ameesha believes that competition is not bad. He said, “If we don’t face competition, then how will we improve ourselves? How will we give good content to the audience? We need someone to improve our shortcomings and motivate us to do better. Zakir should have said that we are learning from this film.” Ameesha quipped that she wanted to know the names of those 10 people who called Zakir and told him about their insecurities. What was Zakir Khan’s statement? This whole controversy started from an awards show, which was hosted by Zakir Khan and Alia Bhatt. During the show, Zakir had said, “No matter how many congratulatory posts you post or call it your favorite film in an interview, the truth is that everyone is jealous of ‘Dhurandhar 2’. Bombs have exploded in Lyari, but smoke has risen in Bandra and Juhu.” On this comment, Ameesha Patel had earlier cornered him on the social media platform ‘X’ also.
