This time Akshay’s entry in the film will be the biggest attraction, while the story is woven around horror-comedy and supernatural elements.
There is intense discussion in the industry regarding the fifth installment of Rohit Shetty’s comedy franchise ‘Golmaal’. The film is still in the process of being made, but quoting sources related to the production and crew, many important information related to its schedule, starcast, story and characters has come to light.
According to exclusive information received by Dainik Bhaskar, this time Akshay’s entry in the film will be the biggest attraction, while the story is woven around horror-comedy and supernatural elements.
Preparations are underway to start the next big schedule in Mumbai.
About 80 to 85 percent of the film is being shot in studios and different locations in Mumbai. Actors are being called in slots of 10 to 15 days according to their characters. The first major schedule has been completed in Ooty, where some songs and patchwork were shot. Apart from this, Goa will also be an important part of the story of the film. The next big schedule will start from July.
Akshay’s character will be shown as the ‘Badshah’ of Tamil Nadu in the film.
Akshay can reportedly be seen in the role of the main villain or anti-hero in the film. According to sources, her character may be inspired by the famous ‘Bala’ avatar of ‘Housefull 4’. There is talk of introducing this character in the story with the name ‘Badshah’ who has a background in Tamil Nadu. A big action-comedy sequence has already been shot between Akshay and Ajay Devgan-Arshad Warsi’s gang, which is touted to be the major highlight of the film.
This time Sharman Joshi will be a part of Akshay’s team and not Ajay Devgan.
Sharman Joshi, who separated from the franchise after the first ‘Golmaal’, is making a comeback this time. He will return to the story with his old character and the same identity. However, this time his inclination may be towards Akshay’s character instead of Gopal’s team, which will create a new conflict in the story.
New child artist cast for the role of a girl with superpowers
After the horror-comedy success of ‘Golmaal Again’, Rohit Shetty is taking the same genre forward in a new style. The story will revolve around a girl who gets mysterious powers. Instead of choosing any star kid for this role, a new child artist from outside Mumbai has been chosen.
There is also talk of Ranveer Singh’s cameo from Rohit’s cop universe.
Parineeti Chopra is not a part of the project this time. The situation is also not clear regarding Tabu’s presence. Ajay will be seen in his classic ‘Gopal’ look. There are also talks of a possible special appearance of Ranveer Singh from Rohit’s cop universe in the film and some surprise entry in the climax.
