Higher officials of Ludhiana Municipal Corporation were shocked after receiving a threatening email. In the email, there is a threat to bomb the office of Ludhiana Mayor Inderjit Kaur and the house of famous Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh. This email was sent to the Municipal Corporation Commissioner and other government officials on Monday morning.

What is written in the threatening email? The subject of the email ID received at around 7:28 am has been kept as “B”0mb Blast – Mayor Office Ludhiana!”. The time of the blasts has also been fixed in the email. A threat has been given to attack Ludhiana Mayor at 1:11 pm. Along with this, a warning has been given of a blast at Diljit Dosanjh’s house at 9:11 pm.

Mention of 1984 riots, ultimatum till June 6
The email referred to the 1984 Sikh riots and talked about taking “revenge for blood with blood”. Those who threatened wrote that they would be targeted through bomb blasts by June 6.
Who has sent this threat? At the end of the email it is said that it has been sent by ‘Khalistan National Army’. Two names are written in it: 1. Engineer Gurnakh Singh (Rukan Shahwala) 2. Dr. Gurnirvair Singh (Khan Rajada)

After the threat, the police department and cyber cell are on alert. A rapid investigation has been initiated to trace the IP address and sender of the email. Security of the Mayor’s office and important places is likely to be tightened.
