Salman Khan attended a film festival held in Mumbai on Saturday with directors David Dhawan and Varun Dhawan. In this event of PVR Inox, Salman Khan jokingly took a dig at Varun Dhawan for recreating his iconic song ‘Chunari Chunari’ in his upcoming film ‘Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’. Varun started feeling shy on this statement of Salman. Now the videos of this conversation have surfaced.
Salman said- He picked up another song of mine The atmosphere during the program became more fun when Salman Khan made fun of Varun Dhawan in front of the people present there. Pointing towards Varun, Salman said, “He has picked up another song of mine.” Hearing this from Salman, Varun Dhawan felt shy and started laughing. He folded his hands and said to Salman, “Brother, leave it.”
Salman seen in black leather jacket at the event PVR INOX had organized this special film festival to honor the cinematic journey of director David Dhawan. Salman Khan arrived at the event wearing a black T-shirt, leather jacket and denim jeans. Her look was reminding fans of the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Many videos of the event have surfaced on social media, in which David Dhawan and Varun Dhawan themselves are seen taking Salman inside the venue. All three also gave several poses in front of the media cameras.
The song is from the 1999 film ‘Biwi No. 1’ This taunt of Salman Khan was about the famous song ‘Chunari Chunari’ from his 1999 superhit film ‘Biwi No. 1’. This song was originally filmed on Salman Khan and Sushmita Sen. Even after so many years of its release, this song is very popular among the audience. Now this song has been recreated for Varun Dhawan’s upcoming film ‘Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’. Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur are going to be seen along with Varun Dhawan in the new version.
Varun has already remaked Salman’s songs This is not the first time that Varun Dhawan has included an old popular song of Salman Khan in his film. Before this, he had performed on the remake version of two songs ‘Chalti Hai Kya 9 Se 12’ and ‘Oonchi Hai Building’ from Salman’s film ‘Judwaa’. These songs were used in the 2017 film ‘Judwaa 2’, which was also directed by David Dhawan.
