Ranveer Singh starrer film ‘Dhurandhar The Revenge’ is performing brilliantly in theatres. It has been 26 days since the film was released and even after the fourth week, its earnings remain strong. According to Sacknilk, the film is now very close to breaking the worldwide collection record of Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’. By the 25th day, the worldwide gross collection of Dhurandhar 2 has reached Rs 1,712.98 crore. The lifetime worldwide collection of Pushpa 2 is Rs 1,742.10 crore. The film now needs less than Rs 30 crore to break this record. Still 150 crores behind in earnings in India, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is currently lagging behind ‘Pushpa 2’ in terms of ticket sales. According to BookMyShow data, 1.71 crore tickets of Dhurandhar 2 have been sold so far. Whereas 1.92 crore tickets of Pushpa 2 were sold. Talking about earnings in India, Pushpa 2 had a net collection of Rs 1,234.10 crore. Dhurandhar 2 has so far earned only Rs 1,083.67 crore. That means the film is still behind by Rs 150.43 crore in the domestic market. Dominance in Hindi belt, sluggish in South, Dhurandhar 2 is earning the maximum from Hindi belt. 94% of the total collection of the film i.e. Rs 1,017.79 crore has come from the Hindi market only. In comparison, Pushpa 2 got huge support from South as well as Hindi belt (812.14 crores). However, Dhurandhar 2 has collected only Rs 41.85 crore from the Telugu market. This is the reason why the film is lagging behind Pushpa 2 in India Net collections. The biggest reason for Dhurandhar 2 getting close to the worldwide record is its overseas collection. This film has left Pushpa 2 far behind in the international market. Dhurandhar 2 has collected Rs 415.50 crore overseas, while Pushpa 2’s overseas collection was Rs 259.50 crore. The extra earnings of Rs 156 crore from overseas have reduced the gap in collections in India.
