Samay Raina has returned to stand-up comedy after the India’s Got Letting Controversy with the show Still Alive. In this show, Samay Raina has reacted to the latent show controversy and Ranveer Allahabadia’s obscene question. Apart from this, he has also made fun of Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan.

Time on India’s Got Latent Controversy: Raina said that the episode on which the controversy took place was of 5 hours. It was edited to one hour with great difficulty. The comedian said on this – ‘Many people meet me and ask, Samay Bhai, if you have so much brain, then why didn’t you remove that bad question about Beer Biceps (Ranveer Allahabadia) from the edit. I swear to you mother, Beer Biceps asked that question 8 times in that episode.

Samay further said, ‘Apart from this he also asked many questions. When I saw the edit, I thought that he has said very dirty things in it. Let me keep one and remove the rest. So from my point of view I had killed 99 percent of the germs. How did I know that it would become pandemic by just one percent?

Samay Raina made fun of Amitabh Bachchan

In the same show, Samay Raina also made fun of Amitabh Bachchan. He said that when he reached Kaun Banega Crorepati, he wanted to ask many questions, which he could not. One of these was that if you have done so much for polio, then why didn’t you help your son (Abhishek Bachchan) stand on his feet.

Samay also said that Amitabh Bachchan liked him a lot after he was invited to Kaun Banega Crorepati. They would have gathered the entire family Abhishek, Aishwarya, Jaya to see Samay Raina, but when they would have known what Samay had done, they would have vomited blood. Time said- Suryavansham must have happened with Amitabh Bachchan. However, in the end he also said that the day the controversy happened, it was the worst night of his life.

Why was there controversy over Samay Raina’s show?

In February last year, an episode of Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent was released on YouTube. Ranveer Allahabadia, who came as a judge on this show, asked an obscene question to a contestant on parents. The question was so objectionable that it cannot be written.

After the episode aired, the clip of the show went viral, after which many complaints were filed against everyone associated with the show including Samay Raina. As the controversy escalated, Ranveer Allahabadia issued an apology and Raina had to delete all the episodes of the show.
