‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’, released in theaters on March 19, is continuously breaking records at the box office. Meanwhile, comedian Zakir Khan has taken a dig at Bollywood regarding the success of the film. Zakir Khan said during an award show that the people of the industry are burning inside with this film of Aditya Dhar. Zakir said, “No matter how many congratulatory posts you post, how many stories you share or call it your favorite film in an interview, the truth is that everyone is jealous of Dhurandhar.” Taking a dig at the Lyari scene, Zakir, while referring to the action scenes of the film, targeted Bandra and Juhu (where Bollywood stars live). He jokingly said, “The bombs exploded in Lyari (Karachi) in the film, but the smoke blew from Bandra to Juhu.” He was pointing towards those celebs who were silent at the time of the blockbuster opening of the film, but are now praising it when the record is broken. South stars had earlier praised ‘Dhurandhar 2’, actors like Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi and Sara Arjun are in the lead roles. After the release of the film, it was first praised by South stalwarts like Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun and SS Rajamouli. Much later, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar and Vicky Kaushal from Bollywood praised the work of the film’s actors. Many people like Madhur Bhandarkar believe that the film did not get as much support from Bollywood as it should have. Zakir told the real reason for taking a break. Meanwhile, Zakir Khan has also clarified the news of taking a break from his live tour. He told that the news going on about his health on the internet is wrong. Zakir said, “The real story of the break is that I had a lot of writing work pending, which I had not been able to do for the last six years. My health is not very bad. Whatever you are reading is unnecessary nonsense.”
