The Punjab government says that there is no definite information yet on how many people are trapped there. So far, more than 150 calls have been received on the control room set up by the government from people stranded in Dubai. Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh had told that most of the people are staying in hotels in Dubai. About 150 calls have been received, but no one working there has called yet. He said that the tourist season is from November to March. In such a situation, most of the people had gone to Dubai for sightseeing and got stuck there.
