Actor Sunny Deol has become emotional remembering his mother Prakash Kaur. He has dedicated his upcoming film ‘Partition 1947’ to his mother. A day before the release of the film’s trailer, he shared a picture with his mother and wrote an emotional post. The pairing of Sunny Deol and director Rajkumar Santoshi is making a comeback after 30 years through the film ‘Bantwara 1947’. Made under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, this film will be released in theaters on August 14, 2026. The trailer of the film is going to be released tomorrow. Earlier, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given ‘A’ certificate to the film without any cuts. Film dedicated to mother, wrote- ‘My mother is my God’ Before the trailer release, Sunny Deol shared an unseen picture with his mother Prakash Kaur. Describing his mother as his biggest strength and support, he wrote an emotional message. Sunny said, “My mother is my God. My love, my courage, my strength. I dedicate ‘Partition 1947’ to my mother and every mother in the world.” Got ‘A’ certificate from Censor Board without any cuts. The film ‘Bantwara 1947’ has got the green signal from the Censor Board. CBFC has given ‘A’ certificate to the film without cutting any scene or dialogue. Expressing happiness over this, Sunny Deol wrote on social media that the censor board has passed this story of humanity and love without any cuts. He appealed to the audience to watch this film in theaters on the occasion of Partition Day on 14th August. After giving superhit films like ‘Ghayal’, ‘Damini’ and ‘Ghatak’, Rajkumar Santoshi and Sunny Deol are working together again after almost 30 years. This film is a historical drama based on the period of partition of India. The film is produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit. The film’s music was composed by Oscar winner A. R. Rahman has composed it, while its songs have been written by Javed Akhtar. A big star cast including Shabana Azmi-Preity Zinta will be seen in ‘Partition 1947’, the pain of partition and the human relations related to it will be shown closely. Along with Sunny Deol, Shabana Azmi, Preity Zinta, Karan Deol, Ali Fazal and Abhimanyu Singh will be seen in lead roles in the film. A glimpse of this emotional story has already been shown in the posters of the film and the first two teasers released.
