It is noteworthy that Kunika Sadanand expressed support for the movement by reaching the ongoing student protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. At the same time, the actress also criticized the police lathicharge on students during the Parliament march at Jantar Mantar on Sunday.

The actress released the video on Instagram and said, ‘The pictures we saw today are enough to shake any person to the core. Please do not let your anger turn into any violence.

He further said, ‘This is the moment where the real test of a mass movement takes place. Don’t abuse the police, don’t pick up stones, don’t do any kind of vandalism, because the moment the protest starts appearing violent, the real issue takes a back seat. And the issue for which you have come so far, have been sitting for so many days, gets suppressed.

Kunika raised questions on the government

Speaking to PTI, Kunika said, “It has been more than a month. How much time has passed since the NEET paper was leaked. The government should take cognizance of something. You are starting your monsoon session. We should have known something, so that we would have been satisfied that you were going to discuss on it, but today when the discussion started, you canceled the Parliament session itself. A person has to sacrifice his life in democracy, only after that you will listen or after that.” Will not listen even later, because we have seen this also.
