Memories after marriage are related to home Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan were married on 25 October 1991. They were married in three different rituals, which included court marriage, traditional Hindu wedding and Nikah. Immediately after marriage, the couple started living in this house. Gauri Khan herself has designed the house Gauri Khan had talked about the importance of this house in an old interview. He had told that he is from Delhi and he has spent a large part of his life here. Therefore, she wanted to buy and design a house near her mother’s house, where all the memories of the family could live under one roof. According to Gauri, every corner of this house reminds her of different phases of her children’s growing up.

Made ‘Nostalgia Wall’ at home Gauri Khan had told that a ‘nostalgia wall’ i.e. a wall of memories has been built in the house, where the childhood things of the children are kept. On this wall are Suhana’s makeup brushes, Aryan’s badminton racket, Abram’s first birthday gift and artwork made by Shahrukh. Apart from this, some beautiful antiques and postcards received from Shahrukh have also been framed and installed on this wall. Gauri had described it as her favorite corner of the house.
