After the video of ‘370 rupees biryani’, another video of comedian Pranit More’s show is going viral on social media.
In the video, a doctor and influencer named Sejal Pawar had said that she and her colleagues used to look at and make fun of the private parts of men’s bodies donated for medical research and dissection at the Medical Students College (KEM Hospital, Mumbai).
In the video, Sejal said, “Cut the skull and then whatever is there at the end, the reproductive organs…”
On this Pranit More asked, “Are you a doctor or a butcher? And do you joke or are you serious?”
Sejal replied, “Let’s kill.”
After this, Pranit More said, “You also make such jokes that this (dead body) has nothing in its mind.”
During the conversation, Sejal further said, “Whatever… size etc.”
Hearing this, Pranit More expressed surprise and asked, “What? You people also discuss all these things?”
Displeasure over the statement on social media
After the video went viral, many users on social media expressed their displeasure over it and also raised the question as to why the reaction on this video was not as high as that seen on Himanshu Jangra’s statement.
Sejal Pawar apologized regarding the video
As the controversy escalated, Sejal apologized and said that such a mistake would not happen again in future.
In an Insta post he wrote,
Recently a video clip of mine is going viral on social media. After watching it again, I completely understand why people were hurt and angry by what I said. The topic I talked about is quite sensitive. My comments came across in a way they should not have. I had no intention of disrespecting anyone, but I also understand that what matters more is the impact it has on people rather than the intention.

He further wrote,
I have not come to defend what I said or make any excuses. I take full responsibility for my mistake. Looking back now, I realize that people could have interpreted my words in a way that I did not intend. It has been a learning experience for me as a student. This incident has made me think that I should express my views with more responsibility and sensitivity, especially on topics that demand seriousness and understanding.
Talking about not repeating the mistake, Sejal said,
I sincerely apologize to those who were hurt, disappointed or had their sentiments hurt by this video clip. I understand my mistake and assure that such mistake will not be repeated in future.
At the same time, Praneet More is already facing criticism regarding the biryani controversy. After protests on social media, he deactivated his Instagram account. However, on Thursday he reactivated his account.
