The dispute between Bollywood actress Yami Gautam and Kriti Sanon remains a topic of discussion on social media. It started when Yami liked a reel on Instagram in which questions were raised on the Best Actress Award received by Kriti Sanon. After this, Yami Gautam was being opposed on social media. Now the actress has given clarification on this matter. Yami said that my intention was not to humiliate anyone. That reel was not liked intentionally. Yami’s clarification: Seeing the accidental click controversy increasing, Yami Gautam gave clarification by writing a long post on her X (Twitter) account. Yami wrote, ‘I came to know that I have liked a reel which is derogatory towards another actor. We are tagged in many things every day, this reel also came out in the same way. That like was not done intentionally, it might have been clicked by mistake. Yami said- I do not have any PR team. Yami also replied to those who were calling it a publicity stunt. He wrote, I have never adopted cheap PR tactics in my life. I have always focused on my work. It’s easy to create gossip in today’s clickbait world, but my reputation is better than that. I don’t have any PR team. Controversy started with post like: Recently, Kriti Sanon received the Best Actress Award for the film ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ at the Zee Cine Awards. At the same time, despite playing the role of Shazia Bano in the film ‘Haq’, Yami Gautam did not receive any award. Meanwhile, a reel went viral on social media. In this reel, on one side Kriti was celebrating the award and on the other side an old interview of Yami was going on. Questions were raised on Kriti’s award through that reel, which Yami liked. In the video, Yami said that she has given up the search for validation. During the ongoing interview in the reel, Yami had clarified her view regarding the awards. He had said, you try everything possible, still things don’t work out. So I have given up looking for any kind of validation. It is not that I am a good actress just because I get an award. I am just concentrating on my work.
