South actor Vijay Deverakonda and actress Rashmika Mandanna got married on 26 February in Udaipur. The couple’s wedding photos remain in the news continuously. Meanwhile, the couple has made a big announcement of distributing sweets and donating food across the country.

Making this announcement from the official social media account, Vijay Rashmika wrote, To the beautiful people of this country, you have always been a part of our journey and our love. We would be really happy if we could celebrate our wedding with all of you. And how does India celebrate every happiness? With sweets and food. So on March 1st, we are sending trucks full of love and sweets across the country, so that we can share this special moment of our lives with all of you. We will also donate food in many temples across the country. Want everyone’s blessings. We love you so much, Vijay and Rashmika.

Further, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have given the list of cities where they are delivering sweets. Apart from this, he has also released a list of 16 temples across the country for food donation, which includes many temples of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Assam, Rajasthan.

Vijay Rashmika’s marriage took place on 26th February

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna got married on Thursday in Udaipur. The wedding rituals were performed as per Telugu customs. At the wedding, Rashmika wore jewelery based on the ‘Living Goddess’ theme, while Vijay’s necklace featured a tiger design. Vijay and Rashmika’s outfits for the wedding were prepared by designer Anamika Khanna. Gold jewelery and temple related designs were the main focus at Vijay and Rashmika’s wedding. Nazar Tilak was also applied on the cheeks of both of them.

Rashmika also had a coconut in her hand during the wedding.

Rashmika wore two types of jewelery around her neck. One is the choker, which is short and fits the neck and the other is the haram, which is long and comes till the bottom.

Angavastram is an unstitched rectangular long cloth, resembling a shawl or dupatta. In South India and Maharashtra, men usually wear it on the shoulder or upper body.

Around Vijay’s neck were necklaces with Nakshi work, on which designs of elephant and tiger were made.

Specialty of Rashmika’s saree

Rashmika wore a rust colored saree in the wedding. The saree had a red and gold border. It was embroidered with patterns related to temples and old architecture. The cultural identity of Hyderabad was kept in mind in the design. Antique gold hand embroidery was clearly visible on the saree.
