Cinemark, AMC and Regal announced showcase weeks for Oscar-nominated films in the lead up to the awards ceremony.

WASHINGTON — Missed the opportunity to watch the Oscar-nominated films in the theater? You may have another chance ahead of the awards ceremony in March.

Cinemark and Regal have announced showcase weeks for select Oscar-nominated movies, allowing moviegoers a chance to watch — or rewatch — the best picture contenders in theaters. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the nominees on Thursday, awarding Ryan Coogler’s “Sinners” with more nominations than they had ever bestowed before, breaking the 14-nomination mark set by “All About Eve,” “Titanic” and “La La Land.”

Paul Thomas Anderson’s father-daughter revolutionary saga “One Battle After Another,” the favorite coming into nominations, trailed in second with 13 of its own. Four of its actors — Leonardo DiCaprio, Teyana Taylor, Benicio del Toro and Sean Penn — were nominated, though newcomer Chase Infiniti was left out in best actress.

The Oscars kick off on Sunday, Mar. 15 at 7 p.m. ET.

Here’s how to catch the Oscar contenders in theaters.

Cinemark Oscars Movie Week 2026

The movie theater chain announced Oscars Movie Week, running from Mar. 9 through Mar. 15.

The event will feature nominated movies, animated and live-action short films throughout the week. Moviegoers can purchase a festival pass for $40 to access all showings and will receive 50% off any size popcorn once per visit.

Once you buy a festival pass, you will receive instructions in your confirmation email on how to use it. Individual tickets may also be purchased online or at the box office, though details on individual showtimes are not yet available.

AMC Best Picture Showcase

Regal

Regal announced Thursday that 10 best picture nominees will return to select theaters from Mar. 6 to Mar 15. Tickets to each title showing will be $7.99.

“While Regal celebrates moviegoing every day at our theatres, we are showcasing awards season favorites throughout March, including the films nominated for Best Picture at the 98th Oscars,” Brooks LeBoeuf, senior vice president of U.S. content at Regal, said in a news release. “The nominated titles represent the best of what appeared on big screens in 2025, and leading up to the biggest awards night in entertainment, these movies deserve to be appreciated again with in-theatre moviegoing experiences.”

Additionally, Regal will be running its “And the Award Goes to” series through March, highlighting one Oscar-worthy film each day, including this year’s nominees and other past year winners such as “Everything, Everywhere, All at Once,” “Oppenheimer” and more.
