Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batsman Virat Kohli gave a flying kiss to wife and actress Anushka Sharma after winning the match on Saturday.
In the first match of IPL 2026 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, RCB won the match by six wickets, in which Kohli played a brilliant innings and when he was returning to the dugout after the victory, he expressed his love for Anushka Sharma present in the stadium.
Talking about the match, RCB achieved the target of 202 runs and won by six wickets. The team achieved this target with 26 balls remaining, which is one of the fastest successful chases of more than 200 runs in the tournament.
After the match was over, Virat also hugged Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Ishan Kishan.
Kohli scored 69 runs
Kohli scored 69 runs in 38 balls, which included five sixes. He handled the innings and led the team to victory. Devdutt Padikkal also made an important contribution in this victory. Phil Salt hit some boundaries in the beginning of the innings, but he was out early.
After this Kohli stabilized the innings and took the team to the target. With this match, RCB started the IPL 2026 season with a win. Kohli became the first batsman to score 4000 runs during the run chase in IPL.
