The release date of Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan’s upcoming film ‘Hai Jawaani To Ishq Hona Hai’ has been changed once again. Earlier this film was scheduled to hit the theaters on June 5, 2026, but now it has been decided to advance it by a week and release it on June 12, 2026. The makers have taken this step to avoid a possible clash with Yash’s film ‘Toxic’ at the box office.

Actually, Yash’s pan-India film ‘Toxic’ is now going to be released on June 4, 2026. In such a situation, the release of Varun Dhawan’s film on June 5 was creating a direct clash situation. In view of this, the film’s producer Ramesh Taurani and his team decided to change the release date.

In the official statement issued by the makers of the film, it was said that the release date of ‘Hai Jawaani To Ishq Hona Hai’ was fixed several months ago on June 5. However, considering recent developments and the industry environment, he felt that it would be better to postpone the release date. The statement also said that it is always good for the film industry when filmmakers support each other, and not create unnecessary competition by releasing films on the same day. With this in mind, the film was shifted forward by a week.

Although the name of ‘Toxic’ was not taken directly in the statement, words like ‘unnecessary competition’ and ‘supporting each other’ clearly indicate that an effort has been made to avoid a clash between the two films.
This is the second time that the release date of this film has been changed. Initially it was to be released on 10 April 2026, but later it was postponed to 5 June and now the new date has been fixed as 12 June.

Directed by David Dhawan, this romantic-comedy film is another collaboration of Varun Dhawan and his father. In this, along with Varun, actors like Mrunal Thakur, Pooja Hegde, Manish Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Mouni Roy, Kubbra Sait and Rakesh Bedi will be seen.
The title of the film is inspired by the popular song from the 1999 film ‘Biwi No. 1’. The makers are preparing to present it to the audience as a light-hearted entertaining romantic comedy.
