TV actor Vikram Singh’s shocking statement on Dhurandhar-Toxic: Called the content as an art form, said – If you don’t like it, the audience can distance themselves.

These days, TV actor Vikram Singh Chauhan is seen playing the character of ‘Shivaay’ in Colors’ new show ‘Do Duniya Ek Dil’. Recently, during a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Vikram openly expressed his opinion on the digital world, online fraud and the changing preferences of the audience.

He also reacted to the growing trend of anti-heroes and gray characters in films. Vikram said that films like Dhurandhar and Toxic are also an art form and every creator has the right to convey his story to the people.

According to him, if someone does not find such content appropriate then he can also choose not to watch it.

Question: Your character in ‘Do Duniya Ek Dil’ creates a connection between two different worlds. Do you think today’s technology is separating people more than connecting them?

answer: I think it is very important to maintain balance. If you stay away from the digital world completely, you will be left behind, because nowadays most of the work is done on digital platforms only. But if you get too engrossed in it, your personal growth and productivity can also be affected.

Therefore it is important that we maintain a balance between the two worlds.

Question: In today’s time, digital fraud and fake identity have become a big issue. If you ever face online fraud, how will you handle it?

answer:It has also been told in our show that if online fraud happens to someone, then he can complain about it by going to cyber.gov.in. Apart from this, there are many helpline numbers where one can call and report and take help from the police.

This has never happened to me personally, but through this show I have also gained awareness as to where to contact in such a situation.

Question: In the era of OTT and social media, the preferences of the audience have changed a lot. Do audiences now want to see more real and unfiltered stories?

answer:I think the audience always wanted to see real and unfiltered stories. Everyone loves something new, something raw and stories that feel real. The stories which have human connection and emotion touch the audience the most.

Question: Nowadays, the trend of anti-hero or gray characters is increasing in films like Dhurandhar and Toxic. Is its effect visible on TV also?

answer: I think it is an art form and everyone has the right to present their art to the people. If someone feels that such content is not appropriate for his family or society, he can choose not to watch it.

There are many types of content available in the digital world, some of which can be more dangerous than these films. Therefore, it is important that the audience chooses its choice wisely.
