There is going to be another big explosion of family drama on the digital platform. JioHotstar has released the trailer of its much-awaited series Marble, which has increased the curiosity of the audience as soon as it was released. Presented by Jio Studios and made under the banner of Rajshri Productions, this series is directed by Vikram Ghai. It is clear from the trailer that the story will present the delicate layers of relationships, family conflicts and confluence of emotions very well.
Marble will stream from 26th February 2026 and the special thing is that its new episodes will be released every Thursday. That means the audience will get a chance to come face to face with a new emotional layer every week.
A glimpse of Sooraj Barjatya’s signature emotional storytelling will be seen in the series. ‘Sangmarmar’ is a multi-generational family drama that tells the story of love, relationships and life decisions that change with time. The story revolves around Amrita, whose life completely changes after an important decision. Spanning 25 years across two different timelines, the story tells how Amrita chooses the responsibilities of her family, leaving behind her dreams and budding love with Aditya. Their love persists despite years of separation, which becomes a deep story of sacrifice and patience.
Sheen Savita Das and Saurabh Raj Jain are in lead roles in the series. Along with them, many actors including Smita Bansal, Khalid Siddiqui, Farooq Saeed, Swati Tarar, Jaya Ojha and Avinash Wadhwani will be seen in important roles.
Sooraj Barjatya said that this is the story of the families we see around us. In relationships, love, misunderstandings, waiting and trying to stay together, this is its core. He told how time both tests relationships and also heals them. While Sheen Savita Das described her character Amrita as the center of the story, while Saurabh Raj Jain called it a story of true and lasting love.
