The film’s female lead actress Pooja Hegde called it sad and appealed to the audience to watch it in theatres. Pooja Hegde wrote in her Instagram story that a film is not just entertainment but the result of hard work, creativity and sacrifice of thousands of people. He said that leaking hurts the honor of the technician and the artist. He appealed to the fans not to encourage piracy and enjoy the film on the big screen. Even before this, many celebs, including Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Surya and Sivakarthikeyan, have expressed their displeasure over this leak. The makers of the film issued a strict statement saying that this is a case of serious digital piracy and legal action will be taken against the culprits. Amidst the growing controversy, the makers have not yet announced the official release date. According to reports, it is set to be released in theaters on a large scale and it is being said to be Vijay’s last film. It is believed that the film may be released on 22 June 2026, on Vijay’s 52nd birthday.
