STAFFORD, Va. — A Stafford High School senior and fire academy recruit has died as a result of a Jan. 10 crash, the fire department announced on Tuesday.
They say the crash occurred while 18-year-old Jaycob Hall was off duty.
Hall had been a member of Stafford County Fire and Rescue since July.
He’d successfully completed his hazardous material operations certification and was actively working toward his Firefighter I training, the fire department noted.
“Stafford County Fire and Rescue extends its deepest condolences to Recruit Hall’s family, friends, and all who knew him,” they said.
