Filmmaker Aditya Dhar gave a strict warning against those spreading AI and fake edited pictures regarding the film Dhurandhar 2. This statement came at a time when the film earned more than Rs 1000 crore worldwide in 7 days. Sharing a post on Instagram on Thursday, Aditya Dhar thanked the audience and said that the film got good response in the country and abroad. Dhar also said that some people are spreading misinformation by altering official promotional content with the help of AI. He referred to a viral picture in which Ranveer Singh’s character was shown smoking in a turban, which he termed as completely fake. He clearly said that there is no such scene in the film and it is deliberately spread false content. He said that he has full respect for the Sikh community and everything in the film has been shown with sensitivity and responsibility. Dhar appealed to the audience to trust only official sources and stay away from such misleading news. He warned that strict action would be taken in such cases. Madhavan had also given clarification. Earlier, it was also claimed about R Madhavan that in a scene of the film, he smokes a cigarette while reciting the lines of ‘Dasam Granth’. The actor had given clarification on this by releasing a video. Madhavan had said that he had extinguished the cigarette before the scene and there was no smoke visible anywhere in the entire scene. He said that director Aditya Dhar takes special care of such things. Let us tell you that in Maharashtra, President of Sikh in Maharashtra Organization, Gurjot Singh Keer had accused the film of hurting religious sentiments. He had said that in a scene of the film, content was shown that hurt the Sikh traditions and the honor of the tenth Guru Guru Gobind Singh. In this case, a complaint was lodged against producer and actor R Madhavan at Mulund police station in Mumbai.
