Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh visited the memorial of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in Nagpur on Friday. Where he paid tribute to him and met senior officials of the organization. PTI reported that the actor also visited the memorial of RSS’s second Sarsanghchalak MS Golwalkar and paid tribute to him. Ranveer reached Nagpur by chartered flight from Mumbai at around 4 pm. He visited the Hedgewar Smriti Mandir complex in Reshimbagh, a prominent place associated with the RSS. India Today’s report on discussions with senior Sangh officials quoted sources as saying that the visit was short but important. He discussed many topics with RSS officials, although the information about these discussions has not been made public. Airport officials also confirmed their arrival and departure. Ranveer Singh returned back to Mumbai at around 8 pm. Met Mohan Bhagwat According to the Times of India report, Ranveer Singh also met RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat in Nagpur. This meeting took place at the RSS headquarters, although the organization has not issued any official statement. People associated with RSS have confirmed his visit to Smriti Bhawan in Reshimbagh. However, the purpose of his visit has not been made clear. It is noteworthy that earlier Ranveer Singh had issued a video message conveying his best wishes on the occasion of completion of 100 years of the establishment of RSS.
